In our school there are 36 pupils and 10 teachers. We have compound classes, it means that two classes have the same subject in the same classroom. Because our island's history has been and is connected with Swedes we learn Swedish at school. After lessons pupils can practice art, handicraft and ecology.
On last four years we (13-15 years old pupils) took part the Baltic Sea and Air Pollution Projects. The younger pupils (10-12 years old) took part Coast Watching Project. In this year our ecology course pupils want to make Nature Traps in Vormsi for all pupils, who are interested in nature. We want to introduce our beautiful rich wild and very interesting nature to other pupils. On our island you can see geological, botanical and also zoological rarities.
We are also interested in joining with The Youth Environmental Parliament next year.
